Christmas is an Encounter (A. 134)

1. God wants to impale you; to make you new and happy. That is: to sanctify and forgive.

2. This is Christmas.

3. Christmas can be at any time and place; because, it is an Encounter.

4. For there to be an encounter, a real want of will is required.

5. God's will is to be within you, transcend you, to make you happy. That is: make you holy.

6. You must contribute your will. Because, God does not violate you.

He persuades; He does not impose.

7. When you open yourself to God, through love, God opens himself to you and there is an encounter. That meeting is Christmas.

8. Christmas is being born for eternal life. It is letting God envelope and transcend the person who finds Him.

9. The moment you open yourself to God, with humility, God is within you.

That's Christmas.
